what we know, so far

ooh that sounds a bit ominous, doesn't it? not meant to, ol' chap. just referring to how we're still getting to know our little jonah farona. he's been around these parts now for 8wks. 8wks! craziness. i'm excited to take him to the dr this friday to see how he's growing; not so excited about the shots. good thing i'll have mor with me. he's much better at that stuff than i am.
so far jonah...
loves to snuggle and be held close
likes to be held when falling asleep
likes to lay on his back or be held under his arms (in a standing position) when he needs to poo
is a champion eater
has a slight case of cradle cap; good thing he still has all his hair to cover it up!
is working on sleeping longer stretches at night and staying awake more during the day
has grown into his 3-6mo clothes already
loves to smile and talk
looks like me
still won't grab onto your finger, even if you put it in the palm of his open hand
has beautiful blue eyes (those myers-phelps genes coming through!) and long eyelashes (thanks, dad!)
takes a paci really well, something finners never did
smells delightful all the time
has successfully taken a bottle once, at his first dr's appt 6wks ago
can sleep through finn's yelling and screaming or anything really
has only been out of the house twice; we're taking dr later's advice very seriously
likes to suck on his hand if a paci isn't around
loves to face you instead of outward
is a wonderfully sweet and beautiful baby
