update

i caught the fraudulence early enough that the good old credit union didn't have to allow the charges to process. hurrah! that's $500+ dollars in my pocket. (or in travis the landlord's pocket to be precise.)

    oh man, I hate stuff like this. Like everybody is a crook and an identity stealer and it just makes me sick. people suck.
